MOON Sagittarius SUN Gemini

Something for your Full Moon, best performed Saturday evening or Sunday morning this weekend.

You will need:

  • a green stone
  • your favourite incense
  • a candle, preferably green but white is also good
  • Holy Water or Florida Water or water from a natural source
  • seeds that you can either eat or plant in your garden

The ceremony:

  • Create your circle in a way that suits you then ground & centre in the space.
  • Light the candle & sit holding your seeds in your non-dominant hand. Close your eyes, pretend you are asleep & dream of what you would like to manifest in your life. Focus your dream thoughts down along your arm & into the seeds that you are holding. When you are done, place them beneath the candle.
  • Light the incense & hold the green stone in your dominant hand. Close your eyes & send your awareness throughout your body checking for any imbalances that require your attention. These may be physiological, emotional, spiritual or psychological. Focus on these spots of imbalance then radiate the colour & solidity of your green stone to those exact areas, energising them for healing & restoration. When you are done, hold the stone over the incense & give thanks. I recommend carrying this stone with you, close to the skin, every day until you feel that you have dealt with or are dealing with these imbalances. For now, place the stone next to the incense.
  • Stand in Warrior Pose (see image below or choose your own style of Warrior pose) facing North. Stare out towards that horizon, empower your pose & breath deep. While you hold this position, connect to the rich, nourishing energy that rises up to you from Earth. Draw it up through your feet & legs & trunk, considering your healing & dreams as it rises. Let it pool & build in your chest as you define the steps ahead that your healing & your dreams require of you. When have reached your peak, shoot the energy out to the Northern horizon. Step your legs together, facing North, & bow.
  • Take the Holy Water, dip your finger into it & draw the Aegishjalmur (pictured above) on your chest. As it evaporates & cools your skin, feel the waters connecting you to the world of material things & calling to you all that you need for the healing that you require & all that you must cross paths with to see your dreams coming true. I recommend anointing this Bindrune daily until you begin to experience the changes you wish to see.
  • Say the following 3×3 times-

Let me pray for peace, health, wealth, wisdom for all.

May all meet under the light of Grandmother Moon forever more.

Children of my children hear my prayer.

Blessed Be!

  • Stamp your feet, shake your limbs & make some noise (I recommend a bell or singing bowl).
  • Release & clear your circle in a way that suits you.
  • Allow the candle to watch over the seeds until it has let itself go out (you may have to snuff it out & relight it again for safety reasons). When the candle is done, eat the seeds or set them aside for your next planting day.
  • Gather the incense dust & toss some into the Winds.
  • Carry the stone with you & each day cleanse it by sitting it in the Holy Water on an altar.

MOON Gemini SUN Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse

This eclipse gate is an opportunity to gather valuable information & understand this information within the context of your life. We can do this by searching the deep dark places & facing the shadows with courage, bringing to them clarity & cutting through all the things that may be holding you back… Sound like fun?? Here is a ceremony that I will be doing at the Witching Hour on Saturday night:

You will need: a candle, a bowl, a jug of Holy water (alternatively spring or river or ocean water will suffice), writing implements

Ceremony: Create your sacred space in whatever way suits you. Hold the empty bowl in your hands & feel it becoming an extension of your body. When you feel connected breath three long slow breathes into it & place it down gently. Hold the jug of water in your hands & open your emotional body to it allowing your heart to pulse through it. When you feel the connection say “Waters of Awakening I call thee” & gently pour the water into the empty bowl. Hold the candle in your hands & allow the Celestial Beings to move through you & into the wax. When you feel the current say  “I reconnect to all that is & honour the source of life itself” & light the candle. As you hold the lit candle, let go of time & thought & inhibitions… feel them oozing off of you & seeping into the ground. When you are present & open & empty, begin to drip the wax onto the water. You will know when to stop, you will feel it, & when you do, place the candle in a holder & gaze into the bowl under the light of the candle. Gently open your mind to receive what lies upon the surface of the water, what lies beneath the surface. As information comes to you write it down without explanation or justification. When you have gathered all that you can, release your sacred space & allow the candle to burn down in a safe place. Pour the water with the wax into a river or the seas or a hole under a tree.

Follow up: About 3-9 hours after you have performed the above ceremony, revisit the information you found & begin to piece it all together.

Reset Ceremony Dark Moon in Sagittarius

For this Dark of the Moon I intend to reach parts of myself that seem to be hidden most of the time, the parts of me that are capable of making my dreams come true. This ceremony is my process that I share with you for your own use or reference. Blessings to you all as you journey into this Dark Moon…

You will need:

A small candle

A pen

A piece of paper

Sage or Gum leaves

A fireproof bowl

2 small jars

Matches

The process:

Light your candle. Sit & gaze upon it in search of your most important future dream. When you see it look deeply into it so that you know all the details clearly. Then close your eyes & see it again, deeply & clearly.

Stand facing each direction in turn, saying your prayers to the 4 quarters, the masculine & feminine, above, below & within.

Tear the piece of paper in half. On one half write down all things that you do not see in your future dream – items, people, personality traits, habits, identities. Take it to the West & say

I offer these things to the watery currents that they may pass with ease

Set the leaves into the fireproof bowl & tear up that piece of paper into small pieces, laying them on top if the leaves. Set them on fire & keep it burning until the paper is turned to ash (you may need to add more leaves). Place the ash into a jar with a few unburnt leaves on top.

Fold the other half of the paper in half. On one side, write all the things you already have that you see in your future dream. On the other side write all of the things you must acquire for your future dream. Take it to the East & say:

 I offer these things to the wisps of air that they may rise through me

Place more leaves into the fireproof bowl & light them. Hold the whole piece of paper over the flame until it catches & then set in on top of the burning leaves. When the paper & leaves are ash place this ash into a small jar.

Stand in the centre facing East, arms stretched out. Focus on your breath. Feel the West behind you pulling at all the things you have offered to the waters. Feel the pull of the light & shadow at your finger tips, widening your realm of possibilities. Feel the Earth below you, holding you to your path. Feel the Sky above you, keeping you focused on the journey ahead. Feel the East before you sending you the threads that will bring you all the things you have asked for. Feel your core, your centre, your inner depths & stay in this place for as long as you can.

Bring you hands together in prayer position & give thanks for the manifestation of your dream to each direction in turn, the 4 quarters, the masculine & feminine, above, below & within.

Allow the candle to burn down naturally. Place the excess wax in the jar with the ashes & leaves of the West. They must be mindfully disposed of into water, not the jar, just the contents.

The ashes of the East need to be scattered in the East of your home at the next sunrise you observe (preferably before Full Moon).

You are now reset so take the actions required & your dream will become manifest.

Lunar Eclipse MOON Gemini SUN Sagittarius

Please read through before you begin.

TO BE DONE AT THE TIME OF THE ECLIPSE

You will need-

  • Rock Salt finely ground
  • Frankincense finely ground
  • Willow stick or Wand
  • Black Candle

Combine the Rock Salt & the Frankincense in a bowl & stir deosil (counter-clockwise if you are in the Southern Hemisphere) until combined. While you stir visualise a bright Silver light filling the bowl.

Using your dominant hand, take up this mix & create a triangle on the ground with a flat edge facing East. It must be large enough for you to stand in. Visualise a wall forming with each line that moves deep into the Earth & high into the Sky.

Take your Willow stick & Black Candle into the triangle. Stand for a moment & feel the firm walls around you. Place the Black Candle at the point on the Western side & light it as you send your honour & respect to the Fates.

Turn & place your Willow stick along the flat edge in the East. Stand straight & tall with you fingertips pulling down & the top of your head pulling up. Place your awareness in your spinal column. Let it ascend through your Crown & reach up to your blueprint, the you that existed before you came to this life. Draw it down into your being & let it coil around your spine. Again place your awareness into your spinal column. Let it descend through your tail bone & reach down into your shadow, the you that is potent with power. Draw it up into your being & let it coil around your spine. Stand for a moment, awareness in your spinal column, & feel the sensations that arise.

Take up the Willow stick & hold it in your dominant hand. Place your left hand on your heart. Direct into the Willow your hearts desire. It must be clear & simple. When you have done, use the Willow to draw a line from your feet through the Eastern edge & out of the triangle leaving an opening in its wake. As you do this send out your gratitude & honour to Father Sun & Grandmother Moon.

Step out of the triangle along the line made by the Willow, turn to face it, bow & say-

IT IS DONE! IT IS DONE IT! IS DONE!

Sweep up the salt mix to be sprinkled at the Eastern side of your property.

Snuff out the candle & relight it in honour & respect of The Fates for a short time every night until it runs completely down. Bury the stub in the Eastern side of your property.

MOON Sagittarius SUN Gemini

I am preparing for my ritual this night, gazing out my window & watching the rain pool around my Magickal Herb garden. Having pleaded with the Cloud Beings for most of the afternoon, I have resigned to the fact that I will not be viewing the eclipse that is predicted to grace our skies this evening. So, I redirect my Water Blessing ritual, which seems to be supported by the amount of Water falling from Father Sky. Instead of having the reflected light of Grandmother Moon I will be gathering rain Water that has reached the earthing phase of its ancient cycle. I will ask this Water to grant me the wisdom of its memories & the reflection of its past & especially its ability to transform and yield and soften so that it may journey to many amazing and sacred places. I give thanks to the Cloud Beings for showing me the way to gather & hold the energy of Water and for transforming my ritual to align with the space & time in which I find myself this Full Moon night.
